Abstract


The authers had studied on changes in color of the teeth by meas uring the incisal, middle, cervical third of the tooth crown. Using the OFC-1001 OP colori meter and on the crrelation with age. We had the subjects, that were the 72 men and 72 woemen who had sound teeth relatively.
Tne teeth us:-d as research material were maxillary right central incisor, canine, and the 2nd bicuspid and th3y ware cleaned, polished and dried before measuring in order to obtain exact results.
The results of the tooth color and their correlation with age were as follows.
1. The Lvalu3s are decreasing as the age increases.
2. There is no relation between the a values and age.
3. The bvalues are increasing as the age increases.
4. Tiie multiple regression equations are as follows.
